THE PURPOSE OF GAS:

The main objective of GAS is to add value to the One City Plan (OCP) and to support other Chester projects and initiatives including being a:

• Think Tank
• Network of networks
• Supporter of the One City Plan delivery

MISSION:

The mission is to act as a gathering point for all relevant organisations and individuals to work together, with the Council and other partners, towards an enhanced future for Chester.

VALUES:

GAS will augment and support other organisations and will endeavour to work collaboratively alongside the Council and other partners for the benefit of the community.

Information will be transparent and communicated. After debate, key decisions will be voted through a democratic process amongst the membership.

GAS will share best practices and work to earn respect and trust to maintain its reputation.

Who are we?

We are a group of like-minded representatives from all sectors working, living, learning and playing in the city.

We are a voluntary, independent and apolitical not-for-profit community interest company established in 2023.

We are coming together with experience, skills and reasoned opinions to help craft this Brilliant Little City to fulfil its potential – making it an even better place for all.
